Report: Washington mulls capping Russian oil price at $40–60
WASHINGTON, Jul 6 (PRIME) -- Washington and its allies are discussing the idea of setting the maximum threshold price for Russian oil at U.S. $40–60 per barrel, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.
“The U.S. and its allies have discussed trying to cap the price on Russian oil between $40 and about $60 a barrel, according to people familiar with the matter,” the news agency reported.
